Jake DeHaven

Owner / Founder

Jake DeHaven is a designer, creative, builder and father located in Madison, WI. The beginning of his journey with buildings was caring for old buildings with his father’s property management company. Seeing the common failures and challenges with poorly detailed buildings had a lasting impression as he ventured out into the trades. Having spent time as a professional painter, mason and carpenter, the variety of skills and expressions in construction drew him back to school to study Architecture. After several years in commercial Architecture working on some of the largest projects in Dane County, a desire to work on small and efficient structures pushed him to start this company. He became a Certified Passive House Tradesperson in 2022, one of only a few in Wisconsin.
